The product file contains all the data about your product and tells the shopping cart everything it needs to know to compute shipping, sale price, description, weight, and shipping method. When you need to update your pricing, description, weight or shipping method, you do not have to rebuild your web site, but simply edit your product file.

Here is how it is done!

Go to your web site and simply add this to the end of your URL in your browsers address bar

/Cart/Maintenance/Maintenance.asp

A box should now appear as shown below:

The next step is to enter your user name, password, and web server (as provided by Heff Communications). You might want to also check the "Save this password in your password list" box if you are the only one who has access to your computer. But remember that from that point on, anyone who can access your computer can access your product file and make changes.

After entering the correct information click the "OK" button and the following screen should appear:
